Описание: With more than 17 laboratories and over 40 post-doctoral fellows on its staff, the Beijing Frontier Research Center for Biological Structure is aiming for significant breakthroughs in the field of structural biology, where the smallest biological structures are quick-frozen and visualised in 3D to help analyse proteins, viruses and even human tissue. The Center adopts an inter-disciplinary approach to cryo-electron microscopy, cryo-electron tomography and its work on the RNA Spliceosome, even harnessing virtual reality to explore structural biology and helping to develop antibody drugs to combat the novel coronavirus.
