After a tense escape, he brokers a "Delicate Alliance" between the Hidden Ones and the rebels. This new partnership leads directly to Basim's inaugural contract as an Assassin: hunting down the Order of the Ancients member and ruthless slaver, Mas'ood Al-Ya'qoob, alias "Al-Ghul". Basim, with Fuladh's support, infiltrates the Damascus Gate Prison using a Merchant Favor Token to bypass security. The mission involves stealthy navigation through dungeons, assassinating a torturer to free Ali, and a frantic rooftop escape under heavy pursuit, introducing the Notoriety system.

• Main Quest: A Delicate Alliance:
After reducing his notoriety, Basim meets with Roshan and the rebels at a wilderness hideout. The successful rescue solidifies a fragile partnership, and intelligence shared by Ali reveals the identity and location of their first major target: the slaver Al-Ghul.

• Main Quest: First Order:
Basim's first official assassination contract. He investigates Al-Ghul's operations at the Caravanserai, uncovering two opportunities: exposing corruption or freeing enslaved workers. By pickpocketing a slave deed and liberating workers, Basim forces Al-Ghul into the open, culminating in a decisive air assassination from a perch.
