Discussions about AI inference acceleration tend to focus on hardware with little attention to software and real-world application benchmarks. This presentation will instead describe software techniques to optimize the performance of programmable inference hardware. It will also show multiple real-world benchmark results to compare the InferX X1 against some of today's most popular shipping inference hardware. It will conclude with a discussion about how to diagnose performance to better optimize models and compilers.
