East Kolkata Wetland in West Bengal, India, is the world's largest natural waste water treatment area and a Ramsar Site. Covering 125 sq. km, it treats 910 million litres of waste water daily and supports 200,000 residents through fish farming and vegetable cultivation. The Dispersing Dialogue Collective (DD) collaborates with communities to promote awareness and conservation through innovative education and artistic projects, aiming to preserve this vital ecosystem and inspire future generations.
The film is made under the Green Hub Central India (GHCI) fellowship, a project of Dusty Foot Foundation and Mahashakti Seva Kendra (MSK), that looks at empowering youth in environment conservation, sustainable agriculture and livelihood through the digital medium.
GHCI is supported by Bharat Rural Livelihood Fund (BRLF)
