✨ Story of Ganesh Ji’s Birthday (Ganesh Chaturthi):
It is believed that Lord Ganesha was born on the Chaturthi tithi (4th day) of Shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada (August–September). On this sacred day, Goddess Parvati created Ganesha with sandalwood paste and gave him life. Later, after the elephant-head story, Lord Shiva blessed him as the first deity to be worshipped.

🌸 Why we celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi:

It marks the appearance day (Janmotsav) of Lord Ganesha.

Devotees install beautiful idols of Ganpati in homes and pandals.

People offer modak, laddoo, durva grass, and flowers.

For 10 days, devotees worship him with bhajans, aartis, and celebrations.

On Anant Chaturdashi (the 11th day), Ganesh ji is given a grand farewell with Visarjan (immersion in water), symbolizing the cycle of birth and rebirth, and that Ganesha always returns to bless his devotees.
