GP40P-2 1375, Crews Give Me Stuff, Switching, and More! UP Kyrene and Chandler Locals of 2021

Описание: 2021 was a pretty heavy year for Kyrene Locals. Despite me not being able to go to school and catch them on my commute home for half a year, I still crossed the Tempe Industrial Lead every time I went from mom's house to dad's apartment, and occasionally ran into the train there. Also included are a few Chandler Locals.

Train 1: UP 1545 leads the Kyrene Local at Elliot and Kyrene Crossing, date unknown, (0:15).

Train 2: UP 1545 heads light through the same intersection on a later date, (1:27).

Train 3: UP 1390 leads Kyrene Local through Divot Dr. In Tempe, date unknown, (2:14).

Train 4: UP 1013 leads an afternoon Chandler Local through Ryan Rd, 2-18-2021, (3:26).

Train 5: UP 2018 and 1047 lead Kyrene Local past Frye Rd. Crossing, date unknown, (5:08).

Train 6: UP 2018 leads the Kyrene Local at the same location on a different day, (6:56).

Train 7: UP 2018 leads Kyrene Local back through Allison Rd, date unknown, (8:30).

Train 8: UP 1375, former SP Peninsula Commute GP40P-2 still showing the larger long hood (to accommodate an HEP generator), leads the Kyrene local through Frye Rd crossing, date unknown. The 1375 is one of just three locomotives built as such and one of only two in service with UP. The crew also throws me water. I remember the UP crew member I spoke to that day could not believe that this locomotive was originally a passenger engine when I told him. The 1375 was a frequent worker of the Kyrene Local for a brief period in 2021. Unfortunately, due to a faulty memory card, the camera stopped recording just after the crew gave me water, (10:19).
