BNSF Trains Around Kingman, AZ, March 2021, Featuring Kingman Terminal Railroad

Описание: For my spring break trip in 2021, I chose to go to a new town, Kingman. We went up there for a night and on our way out we drove the old Route 66 between there and Seligman before heading back to Phoenix. We found this amazing hotel, the Rodeway Inn, whose parking lot overlooks the train tracks as they go through the two hills located in the center of town. Unfortunately, with the amount of distance shots here, I do not have the unit numbers for most of the locomotives. Also included is some action on the Kingman Terminal Railroad, which was my main goal for this trip as not much footage of them existed at the time, also glad I caught their leased MP15, which served only a brief time on the KGTR before being relocated to its new home in California in 2022. For my fellow railfans, I recommend weekday mornings if you want to see this railroad in action, and their crews are friendly.

Train 1: BNSF 7889 leads an eastbound Intermodal with an NS C44-9W fifth out. This would be the only train after a long wait for a few hours before we headed up to our hotel, (0:15).

Train 18: Westbound BNSF Manifest with a Fakebonnet second out and the uniquely-painted 1050 with gold lettering right behind it passes through the mountains somewhere around Nelson, AZ. This was the best spot we could get to after seeing them at Pica and turning back to catch them, (52:08).
