Bake at Preheated Oven 150°C for 70mins
8” Inch Square Mould 【20cm x 20cm】
Ingredients
【第1步】
Corn Oil 玉米油100g
Cake Flour 蛋糕粉110g
Cornstarch 玉米淀粉25g
Black Sesame Powder 50g
Honey 40g
Egg Yolks 蛋黄8
Milk 牛奶100g
【第2步】
Egg Whites 蛋清8
Caster Sugar 糖100g
Salt 盐1g(可选)
Lemon Juice 柠檬汁1 TSP (4g)
Instructions
1。Preheat Oven at 150*C
2。Separate 8 Egg Yolks & Egg Whites, set a side
3。Sieve Cake Flour, Cornstarch in a bowl
4。 Microwave Corn Oil for 1 min and 30 sec at 80*C
5。Pour heated Corn Oil into dry ingredients and mix well
6。Add Milk and mix slowly, batter become dry
7。Add Egg Yolk into batter and mix well
8。Add Black Sesame Powder and combined well, set a side
9。Beat egg whites at soft peak firm stage, over beat may cause cake crack
10。dd lemon juice and continue beat
11。Add sugar in 3 batches
12。You need to take around 6 mins in slow speed
13。Lift meringues at until its bend at rear end stage
14。Add 1/3 meringues into egg yolks mixture and slowly combined
15。Then pour back the mixture to Meringues and slowly combined well
16。Pour batter into 8” inch square mould
17。Bake at preheated oven at 150°C for 70mins 【check oven size, you may need extra 10mins baking time】
18。After baking remove parchment paper
19。Cut the cake while it’s hot and serve
