Mock up time on the hardtail Sportster build. In this video I’ve got the frame fully welded, gussets installed, and the neck raked out. I mock up the engine, stance, and overall fitment to see how everything comes together before moving on to the next steps.
This build is focused on getting the rake right, checking clearances, and planning out the oil tank, gas tank, and rear fender placement. The engine is in, the frame is sitting low and level, and the chopper is really starting to take shape.
Still to come: sprocket conversion, rear fender and struts, oil tank placement, paint, 1200 jugs, and firing this thing up for the first time.
