New Project! I Bought a 1999 Harley Evo Sportster 883 | Bobber Build & 1200 Conversion Plans

Описание: Picked up another project bike—and this one might be the most complete Sportster I’ve ever bought.

In this video, I bring home a 1999 Harley-Davidson Evo Sportster 883 that supposedly only needs minor work, possibly just head gaskets… but if you’ve ever built a Harley, you know how that usually goes. There’s a good chance this one ends up with a 1200 conversion, jugs, and maybe even a valve job.

The plan for this build is a clean, stripped-down bobber:

Bobbed rear frame

Rear shock delete

Reshaped rear fender

Front fender removal

Small oil bag setup

Chain conversion

And ditching a whole lot of stuff I don’t like

It’s currently got forward controls, which may or may not stay depending on how it feels once the bobber setup comes together.
