Hardcore Fiat Abarth 124 GT Race Car caught testing: GT4, One-Make Racing or else?

Описание: In the last months this Abarth 124 GT mule has been seen testing at Franciacorta and Mugello circuits. A few days ago I was able to record it in action around Monza and, based on the rumors circulating here in Italy, this could be a GT4-spec car.
I'm quite doubtful to be honest. First of all I don't know properly the GT4 regulation but looking at all the current GT4 cars they are basically production models with the essential mods for track use (rear wing, set up, brakes) while this 124 features a completely new body and aero compared to the street-legal car plus that too "extreme" rear diffuser.

I'm more for the One-Make Racing, doing something like a Mazda MX-5 Cup championship and maybe replacing the awful Abarth 500 Assetto Corse but I can't exclude it will actually be a GT4 racer.
If so this prototype, based on the Abarth 124 GT version which features a carbon fiber hard top, would need something like 400hp, using the same Alfa Romeo 4C-derived engine used in the Abarth 124 R-GT rally car, to be competitive. We'll see.
