I'm very please to show you this exlcusive video about the brand new Fiat 124 Abarth Rally which in 2017 will participate at the Italian Rally Championship and in some international competitions like the next Monte Carlo Rally. I have to thank immensely the Squadra Corse Abarth, Fiat and the driver Alex Fiorio for giving me the opportunity to take some on-board footage during the few demonstration laps at the 2016 Bologna Motor Show Motul arena. Alex Fiorio was on track with another great champion, Miki Biasion, as you can see in the video. The new Fiat 124 Abarth Rally, rear-wheel drive, has been homologated in the FIA GT-R category and can be used in all national and international competitions for this class. The 1.8 liter direct-injection turbo engine can deliver 300 hp at 6.500 rpm/min. The car is equipped with a limited slip differential to the rear axle and a sequential 6-speed gearbox with paddles on the steering wheel. The suspension is an high double wishbone at the front and multilink at the rear. The engine position down and behind the front axle also allows an excellent centralization of the masses. Looking at the rally specs there are all the elements to compete and have fun, we expect the 2017 season to see it in action! Enjoy the video ;-)

Con immenso piacere vi propongo il video che ho realizzato alla nuovissima Fiat 124 Abarth Rally che nel 2017 parteciperà al campionato italiano Rally ed in alcune gare internazionali come il prossimo Rally di Montecarlo. Devo ringraziare immensamente la Squadra Corse Abarth, Fiat ed il pilota Alex Fiorio per avermi dato l'opportunità di riprendere on-board la vettura durante alcuni giri dimostrativi nell'area 48 Motul del Motor Show di Bologna, edizione 2016. Fiorio è sceso in pista con un'altro grande campione, Miki Biasion, come potrete vedere dalle immagini. La nuova Fiat 124 Abarth Rally, trazione posteriore è stata omologata nella categoria FIA R-GT ed è utilizzabile in tutte le competizioni nazionali e internazionali per questa classe. Monta un motore di 1.8 litri turbo ad iniezione diretta che a seconda della mappatura può erogare 300 Cv a 6.500 giri/min. La parte meccanica vede anche un differenziale autobloccante al retrotreno ed un cambio sequenziale a 6 marce con paddle al volante. Le sospensioni sono a quadrilatero alto davanti e multilink dietro. La posizione del propulsore in basso e dietro all'asse anteriore permette inoltre un'ottimo accentramento delle masse. Sulla carta ci sono tutti gli elementi per competere e divertirsi, attendiamo il 2017 per vederla finalmente in azione! Buona visione.
