Promoting Balanced Reporting on Police Reform in Kano State
The Rule of Law and Empowerment Initiative (Partners West Africa Nigeria – PWAN), with support from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), convened a one-day workshop for media actors in Kano State focused on reporting on police reform and accountability issues.
The participants presented their group work on balanced and responsible reporting as it relates to the Police Act 2020, demonstrating their commitment to ethical journalism, accountability, and strengthened police–media relations.
