Have you tried Caran D'Ache Neopastel? This was my first oil pastel set from Caran D'Ache. It was expensive for 24 colors but so worth it. The colors were bright and saturated. The oil pastel sticks were soft but firm. It was fun to use them even though my first oil pastel drawing didn't turn out great, lol.
