My favorite. The best part it’s so easy and quick to make at home.
Ingredients :
150-200 gm bottle gourd (lauki)
A small piece of carrot
Some finely chopped coriander
Some finely chopped spring onion/1 small dry onion
Some finely chopped green chillies (as per taste)
2 finely chopped garlic cloves
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
Some white sesame seeds (safed til)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tsp roasted crushed coriander seeds (dhaniya)
Salt as per taste
1.5 - 2 tbs rice flour
1.5 - 2 tbs gram flour (besan)
1/2 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup bajra (pearl millet) flour
Water (if required)
Oil (for frying)
Method :
Take a mixing bowl, add approx 150-200 gm shredded bottle gourd (lauki)
Add a small piece of shredded carrot
Add some finely chopped coriander
Add some finely chopped spring onion/1 small dry onion
Add some finely chopped green chillies (as per taste)
Add 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Add 1 tsp coriander powder
Add 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
Add some white sesame seeds (safed til)
Add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
Add 1 tsp roasted crushed coriander seeds (dhaniya) and mix it well.
