The last couple weeks of April have always been our best days of turkey hunting in Nebraska. The birds just seem to act right and do what we want them to. This April morning started out unusually cold but the turkeys were still acting right! After a slow start to the day the Toms finally split up from the hens and found our half strut jake decoy interesting enough to check out!
