Описание: There's always about 21% oxygen in the atmosphere; however, as altitude increases, the pressure decreases, making the air thinner, which means fewer oxygen molecules are available. At 18,000 feet, the air pressure is half what it is on the surface. Airplanes are pressurized to keep those oxygen molecules close together, allowing us to breathe. Should a Rapid Decompression occur, it's vitally important that we get on supplemental oxygen and descend as quickly as possible to an altitude (about 15,000') that will allow us to breathe (survive). This video will show you the Emergency Descent Procedure.
