I know this vlog is a bit long, but I wanted to show you the series of my incredibly interesting, intense, fascinating, strong, difficult, easy, overwhelming, wonderful hitchhiking experience in Kashmir. Don't miss out on this one!

This was an epic adventure for me and I had a great time hitchhiking for the first time in Kashmir!

This is not a regular series, in this series I will be showing my Journey from Mumbai to Kashmir and the risks I took to find out how safe Kashmir is? You're not going to see daily accounts of my route or what/where I ate/things to do I want my episodes to be more about the stories and the motivations behind why I chose to Travel across Jammu & Kashmir, how I did it as a solo woman traveller, the wonderful people I met and all the crazy ups and downs I lived through my journey.

I travelled to Jammu & Kashmir after the Pulwama Attack and right before the Abrogation of Article 370.

While Kashmir is a popular tourist destination and 1000s of people travel to this state but they are extra cautious in choosing the places to visit and transport options. Rightly so because Kashmir, unfortunately, is often in the news for all wrong reasons. It’s a place where Every day, someone dies. Someone is detained. Or someone disappears.
