Luke 18:9-14 (part one) As Jesus was instructing His disciples, He addressed "some who trusted in themselves, as though they were righteous, and despised others" about the dangers of spiritual pride, traditions of men, and a "works" mentality relating to our salvation. You can not "earn" your way to heaven through your good works. As God said in Isaiah 64:6 "All our righteousness is as filthy rags," before our Holy Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
