✧ Gentle Spine Wake-Up Reset Practice
This gentle practice uses both lying and seated positions to help release morning stiffness and gently wake up the spine with support and ease.
Through small, connected movements guided by the breath, the practice explores how the head, spine, and pelvis relate to one another. Rather than isolating individual areas, the focus is on sensing head–pelvis connection and allowing ease to travel through the whole back.
✧ What This Practice Helps With
This practice may help gently awaken the spine, reduce morning stiffness, and support smoother coordination between the head, spine, and pelvis.By coordinating subtle movement with breathing, the practice supports whole-back ease, improved spinal organization in an upright posture, and a more energized yet calm feeling in the body.
✧ When & How to Practice
This session is especially suitable in the morning to gently wake up the body, or anytime the spine feels stiff from sleep, sitting, or daily activity.
✔ Practice lying down or sitting upright on a firm, supportive surface (not a soft bed), with the spine supported and at ease.
✔ Move slowly and allow the breath, especially the exhale, to guide the movement.
✔ Let the head and pelvis respond to each other rather than moving independently.
✔ Keep the movements small, smooth, and free of force.
✔ Pause occasionally to notice changes in posture, breathing, and ease.
A calm environment and steady breathing can help the body feel more supported and ready for the day.
