Hi, Folks. We're back after a one-week hiatus. One of the Acorns requested this song. It's a beautiful, reassuring hymn. Granny and I didn't really know it, but we gave it a go. The first two takes have Granny singing the harmony. After that, she wanted me to try the harmony. I think the first configuration worked the best overall, but you can hear granny better in the third take when she sang the lead, and I know that part will appeal to the Acorns. :-) Please let us know in the comments which approach you liked better. This song was copyrighted in 1946 by O.A. Parris and again by Stamps Quartet Music Co. in 1947. Authors listed in the hymnal that we have are W. Oliver Cooper and Minzo C. Jones.
