One person has now died after an explosion ripped through Bree Street in the Johannesburg city centre. 41 people have been injured and are being treated at different health facilities. The public has been told to stay away as emergency services monitor the area. Authorities are investigating the cause of yesterday's explosion which is said to have been from underground gas lines. Egoli Gas has however denied that the explosion was caused by a leak from their gas pipes. Ayanda Nyathi speaks to EMS spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi.
