Fan Folding Drapery 101 - It's Crucial!

Описание: Let's go through the method of fan folding together! Learn how to measure and line up the folds. Fan folding helps train the draperies while they are being stored prior to installation day. The same method works for sheer drapery and lined drapery. I like to fold the draperies before sewing the pleats. It helps keep the fabric from getting very wrinkled and the panels are much easier to handle at the sewing machine while sewing the pleats. Also, it’s easier to fan fold with precision before tacking the pleats because the fabric is still flat at this point. The draperies might still need a little steaming on installation day but the folds lay beautifully because they have been trained.
