8-11, you get beaten up by older kids, grown-up people, find heroin needles in front of the kitchen window. 2 older kids try to put out a burning cigarette in your eye over the open sewers.
And neighbours are trying to kick you out of your home.
1999 comes, schools shut down, sirens deafening the city… another war. You’re 12. Locked inside the house.

6th grade elementary school. New neighborhood, new beginning.
Flawless student. Straight As. Pursuing a basketball career.
At 14 you’re 6'6'. Lower back problems start.
At 17, you are the top 2 IQ tests in the entire high school.
But, you leave school… to go all in on basketball.

At 18, a basketball opportunity in another country shows up, and you move.
Alone. No TV, no WiFi, no smartphones.
10 months later you're back home. Disappointment 998.
