[Takuo Toda PROFILE]
Born in Fukuyama, Hiroshima,1956.
President of CASTEM Corporation and Chairman of International Origami Plane Association. In elementary and junior high school, he was a long-distance track and field athlete. In high school, he was a member of Kendo club. Entered Gakushuin University Faculty of Science, but dropped out and transferred to Waseda University Faculty of Science. After entering the university, he belonged to a mountaineering club, but after falling ill in his second year, he started making paper airplanes. After dropping out of university, he returned home and joined a self-employed precision casting company. The company manufactures aircraft parts as well as precision instruments, but at the same time, he hopes to become an evangelist of origami paper airplanes.

1995: Established Japan Origami Aircrafts Association
2001: Paper Airplane Museum established.
2013: Name changed to Origami Aircrafts Association
