AI on the Ground is an interdisciplinary seminar series focusing on the real-world issues of implementing AI- and ML-based tools in medical settings. Speakers from across the globe will discuss challenges, successes, and lessons learned across diverse fields from data science to human factors to regulatory science and more.
For our first seminar, the Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML) welcomed Associate Professor Xiaoxuan Liu and Professor Alastair Denniston from the University of Birmingham who discussed building a responsible ecosystem for AI in health.
AIML conducts globally competitive research and development in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, computer vision and deep learning. Based at Lot Fourteen—South Australia’s innovation district—we collaborate with industry, government and business to develop high-tech products and solutions to everyday problems.
