After this we went bada bazar vegetable market which is 1.5 km away from shillong, saw many vegetables that are sold locally.



Red Rice restaurant: this is on GS road, walking distance from Police bazar.

Umiam Lake: Most travellers prefer to stay near Umiam lake, which is a good idea because this place is calm and serene. Distance from Shillong is about 16 km,. If you are travelling from Guwahati, Umiam lake will come on your right hand side- 16 km short of Shillong.

Kim Pou restaurant : This is a good chinese food restaurant, i enjoyed chinese food here. Most family restaurants in shillong close by 9 or 9.30 pm, so check the timings if you are getting late.
