Tiny teeth need big care 🦷💛
Dental caries (cavities) in small children is becoming very common—but the good news is, it is largely preventable.
Frequent night feeds, sleeping with a bottle, added sugar or honey in milk, sticky snacks, and delayed brushing are some of the major reasons baby teeth get damaged early. Many parents feel milk teeth don’t matter because they will fall anyway—but these teeth play a huge role in chewing, speech development, nutrition, jaw growth, and guiding permanent teeth.
The first cavity often starts silently as white or brown spots near the gums. If ignored, it can lead to pain, infection, difficulty eating, disturbed sleep, and fear of dental visits at a very young age.
Simple habits can make a lifelong difference: ✨ Clean gums from birth
✨ Start brushing as soon as the first tooth erupts
✨ Use age-appropriate fluoride toothpaste
✨ Avoid bedtime bottle feeding
✨ Limit sugary and sticky foods
✨ Supervise brushing till at least 7 years
✨ Schedule regular dental check-ups
Prevention is always easier, safer, and kinder than treatment—especially for little ones. A healthy smile in childhood builds confidence, comfort, and overall well-being for years to come.
Because baby teeth matter. Always 🦷💛
