MSFS 2024 • From BODØ to FAUSKE (NO) | Scenic Flight Showcasing Trees Fix Add-on

Описание: Another short video in a series of highlighting MSFS 2024 add-ons and mods created by me (user Keinowaara on flightsim.to). These are not visually fancy videos but aim to give you a preview of the add-on in question so you may decide whether to download and install the add-on.

The add-on addresses the common problem in MSFS 2024 which places even tall trees high up on mountains, even on the tops. This is especially problematic in the arctic regions where vegetation is smaller and sparser anyway. This are belongs to Norway's Nordland, which is quite high in the north, and also affected by the harsher conditions of the Atlantic coast. Generally, bigger trees won't grow any higher than 800 meters above sea level there.

I've painstakingly gone through a great area from upper Troms all the way down to Bodø and Fauske, removing the excess trees by placing exclusion polygons. This is the fourth part of downloadable add-ons on the area, the first ones being:

• Senja Area High Trees Removal
• Ofoten Area High Trees Removal (vol. 2)
(I've also done one on Jotunheimen, in southern Norway)

All my add-ons (including a couple of Google Maps based city sceneries) can be found on flightsim.to under username Keinowaara. They are free to download, you only need to be signed in to the site.

The flight itself on this video takes off from Bodø airport, flies first close to the coastline north-east and to the wonderful islands of Engeløya and Hamarøy, then continues from close to Ofoten downwards, quite close to Swedish border, finally heading back west and over Fauske (a small town). I've placed headers for some interesting scenery along the way but this time there is no further subtitles.
