This year I traded fancy dinners for a hot tent, snowy trails, and a heart-shaped pizza in the woods! I headed to Gateway Campground in Caledonia, Nova Scotia and spent the weekend exploring Kejimkujik National Park (Keji) in winter — and it was pure magic.

With the park nearly empty, I hiked to Mill Falls, walked peaceful snow-covered trails, and soaked in the beauty of Kejimkujik in the off-season. There’s something incredibly special about having the forest (almost) all to yourself.

Back at camp, I:
🔥 Had some homemade sushi by the fire in my hot tent.
🔥 Cooked a Valentine’s “love pizza” over a campfire
🔥 Tested a few hot tent stove upgrades for my Pomoly Leo 2
🔥 Joined the Winter Camping Nova Scotia group for an epic snowy night hike
