I wanted to play this battle in Free Mode to specifically show the differences between how it is in Musou Mode after you've already unlocked Taishi Ci. Taishi Ci will destroy the bridge, challenge you to a duel, have an interchangeable cutscene, and then reappear as an ally later in the stage with another cutscene. In Musou Mode, some generic shmuck is his replacement and all he does is destroy the bridge.
This stage already has a lot going on with it, with all the tricks for taking over the western bases and the reinforcements coming in. With Taishi Ci here, this ends up being a very active stage. Also, Taishi Ci is pretty tough in the duel. A bit like fighting Lu Bu.
