Yuan Shao is very similar to Liu Bei on Chaos difficulty. The only main difference between the two is that Yuan Shao's final Musou strike is a single hit, while Liu Bei gets three slashes. Yuan Shao's Musou filling consists of his normal attacks and his C6. Similar to Liu Bei, it is important to gauge the crowd to determine whether to use his C6 or just a few of his normal attacks to fill safely. With a Musou bonus, his Musou can defeat generic officers in a single bar.
The Ice Orb is equipped in case his C6 hits an enemy officer. The ice will keep enemy officers on the ground so his Musou remains grounded. This is exactly how Liu Bei's C6 operates. His C3's rushing portion can also be used to confirm his Musou into enemy officers.
Yuan Shao is high-tier in this game. I'd put him after Liu Bei because of his weaker Musou end strike.
I managed to get this recording done in single take. I missed Man Chong so it's not a complete wipeout of this stage. And in typical fashion, Cao Cao refuses to let Yuan Shao top him by kicking me off my horse first.
