1999 Jack Frank TV feature on Steve's Sundry at 26th and Harvard in midtown Tulsa OK. Was owned by F.W. "Steve" Stephenson who started the establishment in 1947. Was eventually taken over by his daughter Joanie Stephenson. Steve's was famous bookstore and soda fountain which operated for decades in a strip shopping center at Harvard and Broken Arrow Expressway.
Soda fountain was known for grilled cheese and cherry sodas. Bookstore area was known for its wide collection of newspapers and racing forms
Citing economic climate, daily changes in the publishing arena, and Internet buying culture, Stephenson closed Steve's at the end of 2013.
