GNHA club hike on July 14, 2018. The hike location is southwest of Asheville, NC in the Pisgah National Forest. The hike stats: 12.7 miles & 2000 feet of elevation gain.
We started the hike at the Trace Ridge trailhead in the North Mills River Recreation Area. We made stops along the way at the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Hendersonville Reservoir. There were many water crossings on this hike!
Greenville Natural History Association (GNHA) is the largest and most active hiking club in Upstate South Carolina. We have approximately 600 members. Our hikes are in South Carolina, North Carolina and sometimes Tennessee and Georgia.
