2 - 2014 - Selwyn Small House at Vector Arena

Описание: King's College House Music is an annual event where the eleven house's of the school compete for the coveted House Music trophy. There are two events that contribute to the score of the competition, The first is Small House which consists of a small group of students that perform a song at the school. Then Big House where all the students in the house perform, this is held at Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. Both events take place within three weeks and the winners are announced at the end of the competition.

MC Reverend Walters' Notes:
The other second place getters also wowed their audience two weeks ago. Their item is a mash up of two iconic raps songs. 'No Diggity' by American R and B group Blackstreet and a rap piece by Macklemore called 'Thrift shop'. No diggity, for ma homies out there, means 'No Doubt', while Thriftshop is a sendup of the excess and lots of money message of rap culture. Their lyrics instead celebrate the local thrift shop and suggests rappers instead wear your granddad's second hand clothing, which I'm really glad the science department at Kings has embraced whole-heartedly. So here to rap Thriftshop with No Diggity, please big it ups for Selwyn House.
