Bacterial leaf spots: small spots of different color appear in leafs.
Causing agent
This disease is caused by Pseudomonas and Xanthomonas species.
Host/victim: Its hosts includes:
Cucurbits ( etcکَدو)
Beans(پھلیاں)
Corn(مکئی)
sign and Symptoms
small spot of different color appears,then become irregular and enlarge as a result hole appear in the leafs. Brownish black lesions and finally yellow holes appear around the affected area
ideal conditions
1.Bacteria on the plant surface are easily spread to nearby plants by splashing water from rain and irrigation.
2.Use of affected seeds.
3.Frequent rain
4.Poor soil drainage
5.High humidity
6.Over crowding of plants.
7. warm temp
Prevention
• Copper-based products are helpful in controlling population of surface-borne populations of bacteria
• Removal of infected plants
• Use of disease free seeds.
• Crop rotation
• Hot water seed treatment

Bacterial blight:
Blight means inflammation/burning. Small water soaked light green spots appear on leaves.
Causing agent:
bacterial blights on different plants are caused by different species,
victim: bean,cotton,rice
For example:
Bacterial blight of bean: Xanthomonas axonopodis pv Phaseoli (Pv patho variety)
Bacterial blight of cotton: Xanthonmonas axonopodis pv Malvaceorum
Bacterial leaf blight of rice: Nanthomonos oryzae pv Oryzae
ideal conditions: warm temp,high moisture,over irrigation and contaminated soil.
