This video teaches you doubles tactics, specifically territory in doubles.
In doubles there are four main roles; the server, the returner, the server’s partner and the returner’s partner.
In this video I'm going to talk to you about the role of the server’s partner. It’s a really important role in tennis when trying to hold serve. The goal of the server’s partner is to touch as many balls as possible so I’m going to show you the basic starting position and then where I move to on the court depending on the direction of the serve.
This video is perfect if you are new to doubles, have problems holding serve or want to learn new doubles strategies. Court positioning and movement is key to successful doubles.
