Sorry I'm so behind with the last batch of content, I filmed & photographed on Wednesday 31st May 2023. This is the first part, of an on-foot now & then historical tour ⬇️
The Black Lion Pub in Plaistow to The Abandoned Spotted Dog Pub in Forest Gate = Part 1.
Join me for a now & then on-foot tour = with a looking back, at the historical aspect, at the end of the video "including a smidge of my own family history" which comes into this one, in the form of my Great Great Grandmother Henrietta (Shipp) Lee = who was a domestic servant in 1881, at one of the locations covered in our on-foot tour. + historical photos of the other locations, we walked past, in the video.
Hope you all enjoyed 🤞. The second part of this little series, will be a now & then historical on-foot tour from The Spotted Dog Pub, along Upton Lane = & to Emmanuel Church on the Romford Road, in Forest Gate. & after that = We head to the slightly contentious Woodgrange Park Cemetery.
