This was a huge one. Since I rode an M3 on Train #1968 inside 9896 from Wyandanch to Central Islip 3 weeks ago on Thursday, February 5th, and rode another M3 on Train #1060 from Bethpage to Wyandanch 2 weeks ago on Tuesday, February 10th inside 9866, I thought of mashing it all up for another big special ride. Train 1946 had M3s today. This was on Train #1917 this morning. 9910 had such a fantastic horn I'll be honest. We passed lots of freight cars at Wyandanch, near Pinelawn and at Deer Park, and especially passed some work cars after departing Brentwood. Plus, after departing Deer Park we saw 4 engines in a siding. Engines 261, 151, 402 and 159 all chilling with each other. 9943-9944, 9879-9880, and 9807-9808 were back once again. Great to see them again, along with 9842-41 joining the party. Terrific.
