Epic 30-Mile Kinder Scout Circular Hike | Edale to Bleaklow & Derwent Reservoir Loop (Peak District UK)

Join me on an unforgettable 30-mile circular hike through the heart of the Peak District National Park, starting and finishing in the beautiful village of Edale. This challenging solo adventure takes in some of the most iconic and remote landscapes in the UK, including the legendary Kinder Scout plateau, Bleaklow Hill, and the stunning Upper Derwent Valley.

🌄 Key Highlights of the Route:

Edale to Grindslow Knoll – a steep start with panoramic views
Across Edale Moor and the dramatic Crowden Brook
The spectacular Kinder Downfall waterfall
Joining the Pennine Way at Mill Hill (544m elevation)
Crossing the historic Snake Pass road
Climbing to Bleaklow Hill (630m) and exploring Bleaklow Stones
Passing the remote Shooting Cabin along Lower Small Clough
Following the River Derwent
Stunning scenery around Howden Reservoir, Howden Dam, and Upper Derwent Reservoir
Through Lockerbrook Outdoor Centre and Crookstone Out Moor
Passing The Nab and finishing back in Edale
