Service Mold + Aerospace Inc. (Windsor, Ontario) is not your typical mold shop. While the core competence remains the design, engineering and building of injection, compression, low-pressure, blow, glass-encapsulation and forming molds for the automotive industry, the company has emerged as a contract, build-to-spec supplier of parts for that industry as well as Aerospace and Medical customers in North America and Europe.
Service Mold + Aersopace Inc. has invested heavily in Zimmermann's (Wixon, MI) 5-axis machines after their first purchase in 2006. Now, Service Mold + Aerospace Inc has seven Zimmermann machines, 3 being the FZ37 5-axis machine shown in the video, perfect for the one-off jobs frequently found at Service Mold + Aerospace Inc.
