I almost quit YouTube on September 30, 2025.

At that point I had tried several channels that never gained traction. Some of my long-form videos were lucky to get 12 views. It felt like I was talking to myself.

But I decided to keep going.

In this video I share the honest numbers from my first months of YouTube monetization, including my first partial month and my first full month monetized.

These are not huge influencer numbers. This is simply what a small retirement lifestyle channel earned after about six months of consistent posting.

I also share what my website earned during the same time.

The point of this video is not to brag about income. It’s to show that sometimes the results start showing up right after you’re ready to quit.
