25 miles on the D&L Trail through the Lehigh Gorge from White Haven to Jim Thorpe, PA. Train ride from Jim Thorpe to White Haven; bike ride return on the trail, mostly beside the Lehigh River. Wide, smooth gravel trail surface with gentle downhill grade. Riding tips, directions, points of interest featured. Waterfalls, access to Lehigh River, active railroad lines, numerous picnic tables, permanent rest rooms, other trail heads, scenic river crossing along this route. Bike Train is only available on select weekends during the year; check and reserve in advance. Parking lot beside train station.
