This is the second video of our conversion of a Vario 814 Optare Minibus!
Family of 5, race car we tow all over the country. We converted a 5T Iveco minibus 5 years ago which has been epic. The damn kids keep getting bigger, and I've got a hankering to get over to Europe to do a bit of touring. Just as well do it now, I've no doubt I'll be too old and embarrassing for them to want to come along in a few more years!
I've not really had much chance to get moving on this little project honestly. It came along when I didn't really need it, so it arrived early!
Regardless, we've now got it into full swing! The initial plan is to get everything gutted, and get all the mechanical bits and pieces sorted.
In this video, we strip alot of the van out, and see exactly what we've got! Some experimenting with wrapping, and and some ideas for the conversion plan!
I hope you enjoy this little series of videos. They''ll be light hearted, but will hopefully give you some idea of what we're getting up to with it, and hopefully you guys will be able to help us along the way also.
