This is Yi Jin Jing, a famous Chinese Qigong practice with a history spanning thousands of years. It trains the body's tendons, meridians, blood, bones, Qi, and spirit from the outside in.
While twisting your body, coordinate the rotation and stretching of your arms to improve shoulder and back flexibility and relieve stiffness and pain.
The twisting of the body provides an internal organ massage effect, especially effective for digestive organs such as the spleen, liver, and intestines.
The final movement, with the arms stretched diagonally, particularly helps to unblock the liver meridian in the rib area. Thyroid and breast problems are often related to blocked liver meridians and emotional depression; unblocking the liver meridian can help maintain the health of the thyroid and breasts.
