Human rights lawyer Neri Colmenares is confident the charges of crimes against humanity against ex-Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte will be confirmed because of the strength of the evidence presented.
“Medyo airtight ang pagkalahad ng prosekusyon ng kanilang ebidensya. Napakalakas ng ebidensya kaya confident kami na mako-confirm siya,” Colmenares said in a DZMM interview.
“‘Yung depensa, parang wala silang nabanggit na legal argumentation at least dun sa opening statements pa lang to refute the allegation.”
