Описание: On July 19, 1988, Jean LaMarree entered a spring cave in the Ottawa River system during a Speleological Society of Quebec diving camp. He and his partner Luc LeBlanc explored ninety meters of underwater passage, surfaced to fix a minor regulator issue, then re-entered to survey the cave. At the end of the line, Jean signaled Luc to begin the exit. Luc surfaced — Jean never did. When recovery divers found him the next day, his tanks still had air. His regulators were working. There was blood in his mouth. A physician who reviewed the case suggested a sudden medical event — possibly cardiac or internal bleeding. His equipment didn't fail. His body did. This is the true story of how a cave diver can do everything right and still not come home.
