In this lab, we investigate how temperature & concentration affects the rate of reaction of amylase on starch. Students will plot a graph and discuss how these two factors affect enzyme activity.
Concentrations of starch and amylase used are:
Part 1- 0.5%, 1%, 2% and 4% starch with 3% amylase.
Part 2- 1% starch with 1% amylase.
