Cast Iron Pan Pizza Recipe
1lb Pizza Dough
Pepperoni for topping
8oz Low Moisture Mozzarella Cheese
28 oz San Marzano Whole Peeled Tomatoes
6 oz Tomato Sauce
3 Garlic Cloves Minced
5 Small Leaves Freshly Chopped Basil
Couple of Pinches of Salt and Pepper
2 Tsp Sugar
1/4 Cup Butter
Cooking Directions
Pre Heat oven to 500 degrees.
Allow dough to sit out and become room temp. This will allow the dough to be easier to work with and will also help achieve the perfect crust. In the cast iron pan coat the bottom of the pan with a good amount of butter and reserving just a little for the sides before you put it in the oven. Place your dough in the cast iron pan and stretch the dough evenly until you reach the bottom edges of the pan. Top your pizza with sauce and cheese. Allow the cheese to reach the edge of the crust. This will result in a nicely crispy cheese outer crust with a crunch that will have you speechless. Trust me fam! Finish topping your pizza.
Allow to bake for 15-18 Mins until top is golden. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly. Remove from pan, slice, serve, and enjoy! You are now in the game!
