Pressure is the element we have to look at in more detail when printing onto denim jackets. Because of the raised seams across the back and the pockets and buttons on the front. When applying your transfers, you must ensure the obstructions don't affect the pressure. Normally you'd isolate the print area by using a smaller lower platen. But because the seams are too close together to properly isolate here, we're using a pillow. Heat printing pillows allow the raised areas to sink into them when fusing. Creating that flat surface area and even pressure the transfer needs.
